Students in grades one to six receive 950 hours of instruction each year. On Thursday afternoons, there is no afternoon recess as all students are dismissed at 2:35 p.m. The early Thursday dismissal permits staff to meet during the regular workday to program-plan collaboratively, engage in professional development activities and to develop instructional resources.
